Description

Peter draws inspiration for his latest work from observations concerning the phenomena of light on Australian landscape and the forest surrounding his studio in Pemberton. Kovacsy makes large kiln cast glass and wood sculptures designed to respond to the movement of natural light. Peter is represented in many collections including The West Australian Art Gallery and The Detroit Institute of Arts.

The book "Peter Kovacsy A Studio Practice" is a compact insight publication presented in a stunning case bound limited edition. It was written by Australian art historian Diana Roberts. A signed copy of the hard case version is available at the studio for $60.00 AUD.

To locate The Peter Kovacsy Studio follow the Studio's sign from Ellis Street along Jamieson Street in Pemberton. To help support the artists studio practice there is a $5.00 entry fee per group to view the gallery. The fee is redeemable should you make a purchase.
