Description

Big Brook Dam was constructed in 1986 to provide a water supply for Pemberton and is now one of Pemberton's most popular recreation sites. Perfect for swimming & canoeing in summer, Big Brook Dam offers a tranquil picnic BBQ area and a family & pet-friendly sealed 4km walk trail around the dam. Please note dogs are not allowed on the swimming beach. No fees apply for entry or gas BBQ. Wildflowers & fungi in season, great for birdwatching. Part of the Karri Forest Explorer Drive. Plenty of parking for large vehicles and caravans (no camping allowed - Big Brook Arboretum is the nearest camping area).
