Relax in a garden cafe, enjoy a gourmet meal as you gaze out over the karri forest, purchase some fine local wine at the cellar door and enjoy the wholesome country cooking and hospitality Pemberton is famous for.

Whatever your taste or budget Pemberton can meet your needs. Pemberton offers a diverse range of culinary experiences from sophisticated cafes and a la carte restaurants to the country charm of local pubs and eateries. Fresh local produce is a key ingredient. Savour the local delicacies of marron and smoked trout or stop at the many roadside stalls to grab avocados, berries, citrus, peaches, apples and a host of vegies. In season you can stop and pick your own strawberries. There are a huge range of home made jams, pickles and vinegars and products containing sweet smelling lavender.

Of course wherever you go you always get the breathtaking forest scenery as an added bonus.

Equally tempting is the local wine. The region boasts many vineyards producing a range of quality wines from complex cool climate Cabernet Sauvignons to elegant dry Chardonnays. Every palate is catered for. Pemberton is quickly becoming one of the premium wine producing regions in Western Australia.

Many wineries are small family businesses where you are served by the winemaker. A range of food is available at some wineries. Be tempted at the cellar tastings and take home a bottle or two. Pemberton wines are becoming much sought after as the region is becoming internationally recognised for its production of classic cool climate wines.
