Pemberton Arts Group
The Pemberton Arts Group exhibitions have now become an important local event attracting artists from as far as Perth and Albany as well as a growing numbers of appreciative visitors and buyers.
The Pemberton Arts Group was formed in 2004 by a group of local Pemberton artists to celebrate artistic endeavour with regular exhibitions of fine art, and more recently photography, for the benefit of the Pemberton community and visitors to the region.
Musical and theatrical performances will be encouraged whenever possible.
"Fusion" Exhibition a Local Triumph"
"Fusion" is the name of the most recent art exhibition mounted by the
Pemberton Arts Group at the Pemberton Wine Centre . You can find the Pemberton Wine Centre on Old Vasse Rd (in the Warren National Park).
Described as "The blending or uniting of different parts into a whole"
the exhibition features work from 15 local artists, across an array of
media. The eclectic set of works included oil, acrylic and water colour
paintings, photographs, a pen & ink drawing, multimedia panels, and
stained glass pieces.
The natural world featured in many of the works, though styles and
themes were diverse and idiosyncratic.
The exhibition pieces are for sale, so make sure you visit soon, to
avoid disappointment.
Please note: Opening hours for the Pemberton Wine Centre are 12pm until 5pm daily.

PEMBERTON - AN ART DESTINATION
Pemberton Arts Group is working hard to make Pemberton and district an art destination for visitors. From 25th - 30th September, 10.30 am - 6.00 pm ,our major annual Art Exhibition will be held at the Pemberton Sports Club with art works from artists round the south west. This is in addition to our exhibition at the Pemberton Wine Centre on Old Vasse Road, John Garde's exhibition at Mountfords, the Painted Tree Gallery in Northcliffe and the well known Understory sculpture walk there. This should be a full weekend of cultural excitement for anyone who enjoys the stimulation of creative endeavour.
This year's exhibition for the Long Weekend in September will feature a selection of works on the theme of 'The Edible Landscape' showcasing the crops and farming activities of the local area. There will also be an open section for two and three dimensional works and a repeat of our very successful 9" x 5" section. These small paintings will all be priced under
$200 so they are very affordable.
We look forward to your support and hope all our visitors will come to this exhibition as well as other art venues in the district.
