Diamond Forest Cottages is a family friendly farmstay offering our guests a relaxing and peaceful holiday overlooking a picturesque valley. From your western-red cedar cottage enjoy panoramic forest and rural views of our 55 acre property. Wake up to the call of the birds, and early risers can take the opportunity to photograph the mist rising from the dams below.
At present we have approximately 100 animals. All are friendly & love attention & food. There is not a place on the property that you won't have an animal of some kind following at your heels. Children love to join us every morning to feed the animals.
Other activities include fishing, canoeing & bushwalking. Your cottage overlooks our dam which is stocked with Rainbow Trout. On a rainy day spend some time in our games/recreation room; or on a sunny day cool down in our picnic pavillion in the breeze on the edge of the dam.
During winter nestle inside your cosy cottage and sip a glass of local wine, or enjoy a meal on your verandah during the warmer weather. Our property is adjacent to the lovely Diamond State Forest, giving you the opportunity to enjoy bush walking, bird watching or viewing the wildflowers in season; or you might take the opportunity to climb the Diamond Tree Lookout which is a two hour return walk from your cottage.
Treat yourself to a forest getaway any time of the year. Diamond Forest Cottages is a great central location midway between Pemberton and Manjimup offering a choice of holiday options. You might hide away from the world and soak up the relaxing vibe created by scenery and space; stay cocooned on the property and make the most of the facilities and activities without having to go anywhere; use the property as a centrally located base to explore the wonders of our local area; or combine the choices for a balance of relaxation and adventure.
The property is adjacent to the majestic Diamond State Forest and only three kilometres from the Diamond Tree. You might stroll from your cottage through the forest and climb the tree if you dare or visit any one of the many wineries and tourist attractions within a short drive. Wander the property and talk to the animals or join us at feeding time, catch a Rainbow trout in the dam or just relax with a glass of wine and enjoy the view from your verandah. If you're after something a little more active, launch a canoe on the dam, play a game of air hockey or foosball in the games room or talk the family into a game of soccer, cricket or crocquet. The choice is yours to enjoy.
Your cottage is colonial style two bedroom western red cedar set well apart from the others for privacy. It is set against a lush forest backdrop and has peaceful valley views. You need only bring food as your cottage provides a fully equipped kitchen with gas cooktop and microwave, all linen and towels, barbeque on the verandah, television and DVD player and your cottage is reverse cycle air conditioned for comfort year round.

Come & visit our collection of animals which include cows, donkeys, sheep & lambs, alpaca, goats, horses, ducks, chickens, turkeys, peacocks, rabbits, miniature pigs & of course our usual wildlife in the area which always like a free feed. Our dam has been recently re-stocked with rainbow trout - come and try your luck. Fishing is free, bring your own rod or we have loan equipment on site.
Enjoy the relaxing fragrance of lavender & rosemary when you meander through the property.

Cancellation Policy / Terms & Conditions If we are able to fill your booking your deposit will be refunded less a cancellation fee of $35 plus other costs incurred. Otherwise no refund. For those travellers with pets we can accomodate both you and your much loved companion be it dog cat or horse.
